"The Big Bang Theory" Season 8 to air this October -- Wedding bells ring this season [SPOILERS]

The characters in "The Big Bang Theory" are here to stay--and no one will be leaving for the next season.

According to the reports from Christian Today, TV Series Producer Steve Molaro clarified that despite of Sheldon's cliffhanger leave, there are no huge factors that would affect their cast members. The past season showed Sheldon was about to mount on a train, suggesting theories of a cast change.

"Not at all. We're making the best episodes that we can come up with. I have to move forward assuming everyone is going to be there. I have no reason to think they won't be. That wasn't a factor," he said.

Moreover, he spoiled that there are other possible wedding proposals taking place on the next season--a continuation to the last season's Penny and Leonard's engagement.

Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, who plays Kaley, also gave hints. "If I could write it myself, I think Leonard will be more of the bride, because I think it would be funny if he were the planner. Penny is so aloof; she'd be a lot more easy-going than Leonard."

On the past season, Penny's mom was mentioned many times. Will her mom finally make her grand entrance on the wedding?

"I don't know what they're going to do, but I have always thought," she said. Speculations on who will portray as Penny's mom says it's going to be Lisa Kudrow. "[Lisa] would be so perfect. I've said that for years. I think it would be hilarious, plus I'm a huge fan of hers, so it's a selfish wish."

On the other hand, Amy may be seen exchanging "I dos" with Sheldon. The report of the same site said the producers of the series have talked about this scenario as well.

Reports suggest that Sheldon might not really have boarded on the train, and the romance continues between him and Amy.

"We're enjoying shining a light on how many proposals there have been and how many there might be to come. As long as we own it, we'll be OK," the producer said on Hollywood Reporter.

Kaley was asked what she felt on the seventh season finale and to the upcoming season. She said: "The finale wasn't a 'To Be Continued,' so I don't see any problem with it. People change; people get haircuts, so I think this is a realistic move for Penny. Fingers crossed!"

"The Big Bang Theory" will air every Thursday starting October 30 before "The Millers."
