"Grey's Anatomy" is set to bring thrills and more suspense this September on its eleventh season. Reports say several doctors would come and go, so what should we expect?
Showrunner, Shonda Rimes, is said to be planning more of family relationships this season.
Callie and Arizona's relationship will be better and so as Jackson and April's, who is expected to be parents soon. Meanwhile, Jo and Alex on the past season were doing well, hence because of the wedding proposal. Moreover, Meredith and Derek will be facing a long-distanced relationship as Derek probably accepting a job proposal.
On the other side, a replacement of Dr. Cristina Yang - Dr. Margaret Pierce - was featured on the last season.
With the rumored exit of Justin Chambers, Alex Karev (first appeared on 2004) desired to leave the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital for more income. But speculations confirm despite the character's departure, fans need not to worry, for he will always be around and might as well come back. Moreover, Chambers was quoted on International Business Times as he feels like an old actor though it had been a great ride [being on the show].
Not many people can say in today's world that they have been part of television history for over ten seasons. I'm still excited to be there. I'm still excited to work with the people I work with. Hopefully, I will give people a good hour of TV for the next season or two," he said.
Is it a confirmation that he's nowhere to go but stay on "Grey's Anatomy" Season 11?
He also cleared the relationship of Alex and Jo as it will "blossom". More romance on the next season, indeed. Furthermore, he explained that the characters are "complementary to each other".
"Now that they live together, it will explore what it's like for him to be domestic and who knows; maybe they'll get married and have kids. Anything is possible," he added. Could this serve a clue that we may hear wedding bells on the next season?
"Grey's Anatomy" Season 11 is set to premiere this September on ABC Network.
