"Call of Duty" Ghost Invasion new map pack for PC, PS3, and PS4 will be released very soon next week.
The map pack will be composing of 4 new small to medium sized maps - Departed, Pharaoh, Mutiny, and Favela.
Firstly, Departed may be seen as a Mexican themed setting. According to Playstation Lifestyle, everything on the map would be very colorful; happy people, vendors, and other paraphernalia are visible. Just think of "Call of Duty" version of "Grand Theft Auto" where chaos will be fun and a lot of gun fires will be executed. Inclusive from the map is the Death Mariachi kill streak.
Pharaoh, on the other hand, revolves on an Egyptian setting. Expect lots of sandy floorings, destroyed Egyptian palace, and flesh-eating scarabs. "Gamers will battle through multiple chambers ideal for close-quarters combat and short-range weapons," as described by the same site. Anubis - the half jackal and half human - will be rewarding players who'll successfully unlock the Field Order.
Then, Mutiny is a small map that would be featuring the Davey Jones' Locker where ghost pirates will lead you to after accomplishing the Field Order. The map is on a Carribean Island setting with abandoned trading posts and prison cells; so expect a much narrow pathways and easier aiming range but fast pace violence. Anyone excited for some short and fully-loaded bloody Pirate action?
Lastly, the Brazilian crowded town is back on Favela. The map is primarily based on a better, highly detailed, and much anticipated "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2". Players here will be facing a tough and cautious jumping agility courses as players must "avoid falling to their death as they traverse the map from one building to the next". This could be the hardest of the maps to be released as enemies who use snipers will take advantage of the longer sightlines and lesser barriers. Successful players will be rewarded with heavy air support bringing 105mm cannon, 25mm cannon and 40mm auto cannon.
"Call of Duty" Ghost Invasion map packs will be available on Thursday, July 3 at $14.99 and free for Season Pass holders.
