Android and iOS apps overlap most of the time with a range of apps available on both platforms. Nonetheless, there are still several Android applications users can enjoy only on Android and not on the iOS.
1. Cover Lock Screen
This is a free application that learns your application usage habits based on the time and location that you use certain applications. It then automatically brings applications to the lock screen with specific shortcuts for each app. For example, it can bring up the Sports application every night when all the games for that day have finished, as well as bringing up the notes app every time you get to work.
2. HD Widgets
This application is a package of widgets that provide all kinds of information and different functions. The widgets include Weather, calendars, clocks, battery meters, and so much more. The widgets also have various designs and styles in order to satisfy your personal wants. You can customize the widgets to your liking without disrupting the interface of your device.
3. Applock
This allows users to select certain applications that require a pattern or pin code to unlock. You can lock your contacts, certain applications that contain sensitive information, as well as individual photos and videos that you would not want other people to see. The application also allows users to set locks at particular times and locations. Like disabling the locks when you are at home, and enabling them when you are at school or at work. You will not have to worry about people gaining access to sensitive information like bank accounts, social security numbers, passwords, etc.
4. ES File Explorer
iOS does not allow access to your phone's file menu, but Android does. ES File Explorer allows you to navigate through your folders and files with ease. You can copy, paste, and delete files without a problem. There are also extra features like cloud storage support and an application manager.
