"American Horror Story Season 4: Freak Show" will premiere this fall. Casts have given insights on what to expect on the upcoming season.
Sarah Paulson spoils that her role might not be as sweet and innocent as the former shows she has done. On the report of Breath Cast, the actress released a statement "Oh Boy, it's not going to disappoint!" She didn't reveal anything about the next season.
"I know lots... I do know a lot of things... I really think people are not going to be disappointed. And, it's going to be very different than last year... in all the best ways."
On the same site, Paulson was reported facing challenges in real life as she has to undergo several trainings and physical skills to portray her new role effectively as revealed by the series' co-creator Ryan Murphy.
"I'm nervous for Sarah," Murphy said; for this role has been the toughest of all roles Sarah has done. Could this mean Sarah becomes the star of the season?
Meanwhile, two cast members (one, Taissa Farmiga - who plays Zoe in Coven) probably won't be seen anymore. Reason reported was her packed schedule; the other actor wasn't revealed. Despite the exits, an arising major character was confirmed to be played by Michael Chiklis.
Murphy spoiled Chiklis' character (as quoted by Christian Today), "He had scenes with Angela and Jessica Lange and [onscreen ex] Kathy Bates. I love the part because it's really written to be quite vulnerable, which is something I think Michael does so well."
"I'm very excited to see [him] tussle with all those great ladies. And he's really up for it, really excited about it."
The setting of this season lapses everyone back in 1950's and the films will be shot in New Orleans.
Kathy Bates told an insight on a report about the setting and how her character will be portrayed, "It's in the late 1950s in Jupiter, FL, and I know what my character looks like, but I don't know anything else about her."
"In fact, I've just gone to costume fittings, and we're still developing the character. I haven't seen the script yet, and we start shooting in the middle of July, so time's a-wastin'!" Kathy expressed her excitement.
"American Horror Story: The Freak Show" premieres on October 15 on FX network.
