American actor and comedian Tracy Morgan is recovering from a previous tragic car accident on the NJ Turnpike that has left his name circulating throughout the web and the news.

According to the report of Variety News, Tracy's rep Lewis Kay says, "While Tracy remains in critical, but stable condition, he continues to show signs of improvement. His medical team remains optimistic that his recovery is progressing. Megan remains by his side and is relaying the countless good wishes and prayers that his family, friends and fans have been sending their way."

Morgan - suffered from broken leg, rib, and femur - was one of the seven who were in the limo on the accident. Reportedly, comedian Jimmy McNair was pronounced dead as the '30 Rock' actor's assistant Jeff Millea are recovering together with 2 others.

Millea has extended the words of Morgan's wife telling the press that her husband is fast recovering despite the tough job of forgetting the incident and they're "very thankful for the love and support she and their family continue to receive".

Kevin Roper, the driver of the vehicle that crushed on the limo in New Jersey, was reportedly driving on a fast pace failing to estimate the slow traffic ahead which made the limo lose control and overturn. He is now under custody and is charged of vehicular homicide and assault.

Meanwhile, FX Network hopes for the betterment of their talent's health and they confirmed Morgan still appearing on the half-hour comedy series (30 Rock). "The only thing we are concerned with is the health and recovery of Tracy Morgan and the victims of this tragic accident," the network says.

Series of surgeries are to be undergone by Morgan. The family has clarified that the comedian's leg wasn't severed and the reports of allegedly confirming him dead were hoax.
