"221B Baker Street" is appearing once again on the screens of "Sherlock" Season 4. The much-anticipated TV series is set to bring back insane crime dramas on 2015.
The adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Homes will unveil another three new special episodes to continue the production next year, according to the reports of E! Online.
On the same site, co-creator Steven Moffat revealed, "A special, plus a new series of three episodes-it's a record-breaking run! Of course, it's far too early to say what's coming, but we're reasonably confident that the very next thing to happen to Sherlock and John, is the very last thing you'd expect..."
Sherlock Holmes's (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Dr. John Watson's (Martin Freeman) characters are expected to come back after scenes like the confrontation between the two and the conclusion of what may arise after Magnussen's demise to protect Dr. Watson and Mary Mortsan (Amanda Abbington) were witnessed on the past season finale. John has been vital on the season leaving his "porn reference" a normal thing.
However, Jim Moriarty (Andrew Scott) is trying to tease the audiences for his "Did you miss me?" animated face exposed scene during the credits. Could this literally mean he's going back - and did he really die in the first place - another resurrection scenario indeed?
"Series Four! At last ! It's always special to return to Sherlock but this time it's even more special as we're doing... a special! Not only THAT, we'll then be shooting three more episodes which will take Sherlock and John Watson into deeper and darker water than ever before," Mark Gatiss, co-creator of the show, was quoted on the same site.
"The whole Sherlock team is terrifically excited to return for four new adventures. The Game is on-again!"
Meanwhile, no reports declaring the show's specific season premiere date yet. On the contrary, BBC posted the plans of airing "Sherlock" on Christmas 2014.
"It's taken a little while to get the dates sorted as none of the boys are exactly sitting back twiddling their thumbs but there was unanimous goodwill to make this work, so we're thrilled that 221b is going to be inhabited again," Sue Vertue, executive producer, said.
