Hit reality CMT show "Party Down South" will premiere this Thursday,
The season will be composed of 13 episodes, shot in Athens, Georgia. According to a news release by CMT, a lot of exciting things are to be expected in the new season--there will be quarrels, love triangles, and a whole lot of family bonding. Old friendships and flames will also be reignited.
"After a life-changing summer in South Carolina, Daddy, Lil Bit, Lyle, Mattie, Tiffany, Lauren, Walt, and Murray are back for another round of muddin', funnelin,' and gettin' country," the network said in May.
For season 2, we'll see Daddy's friends visiting from Orange Beach, his hometown, so the cast need to show their visitors some hospitality and hard partying in Athens.
There may also be something brewing for Mattie and someone named Tharp. "Tharp and Mattie are goin' at it," said Walt.
"I am pumped that Daddy's friends are coming to town," said Mattie. "I mean, it's been a minute since I had some booty if you know what I mean."
There will also be some tension between Daddy and Lil' Bit, after Daddy was spotted disappearing into a bar bathroom with an older woman. "Daddy got caught in a cougar trap, and you know what, there ain't nothing wrong with being caught in a cougar trap bro," he said in a show preview.
The show, created by "Jersey Shore" creator SallyAnn Salsano and 495 Productions, is the network's highest-rated original series ever.
