Author George R.R. Martin stays trending after the non-stop suspense the bookworms are undergoing right now while waiting for the "Winds of Winter".

Several reports believe the release will either be on 2016, or unluckily 2017. He has been writing at slow pace and many fans are left hanging. But just like any other Hugo Nominee, his new book will surely hit big time.

Despite his signature "slow writing" technique, articles suggest that he is doing well in creating a huge impact. He molds all the possible angles of his masterpiece and "pace of his output, page-wise, is on track with Rowling's and higher than just about any of the other fantasy authors listed [including Stephanie Meyer]."

Speaking of J.K. Rowling, an article from Business Insider states Martin still hasn't moved on from losing to the HP author. Back in 2001 Hugo Awards, "A Storm of Woods" lost to "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire".

"I wish I have beaten her, what can I say! I would have liked to win that award and I don't think Rowling cares much about it," he was quoted on the same site, which he wrote on a blog.

"And she didn't send anyone to accept the award, which is certainly annoying."

The creator of "A Song of Ice and Fire" gets more attention especially Game of Thrones has been the most in-demand TV Series nowadays - his masterpiece was the basis of the HBO's Fantasy Drama. On the reports of Entertainment Weekly, the next season of GOT brings the best of the saga. He said there will be more betrayals, marriage, and the never-ending gut-wrenching deaths.

He told the press - GOT starting off with two huge wars and one of which "refers to the clash between Ramsay's army and Stannis's forces in the North". Moreover, he spoiled the lady Targaryen and Lannister dwarf being able to come home from the battle.

""They both have quite large roles to play here. Tyrion has decided that he actually would like to live, for one thing, which he wasn't entirely sure of during the last book, and he's now working toward that end-if he can survive the battle that's breaking out all around him. And Dany has embraced her heritage as a Targaryen and embraced the Targaryen words (pertaining to 'Fire and Blood'). So they're both coming home."

"The World of Ice and Fire: The Untold History of Westeros and the World of Game of Thrones" will be released October of this year; while the "Winds of Winter" is yet to be revealed.
