Showtime crime drama series "Ray Donovan" will start airing on July 13. Can't wait to see what Liev Schreiber and the rest of the gang have in store this upcoming second season? Read more below.
Schreiber, who plays Raymond "Ray" Donovan, will be back as the professional Los Angeles fixer and mess-cleaner for the rich and the famous.
Also returning for season 2 is Jon Voight, who plays Liev's father Mickey. Last season, we see him being unexpectedly released from prison to take down Ray and his team.
In the gripping trailer released by Showtime, we hear the question: "Do you have it under control, Ray?" With a marriage on the rocks, a troublesome father, and a chaotic career, will Ray be able to handle it all?
Cast members to be expected this season include Andrea Bogart (Megan Volcheck), wife of FBI agent Volcheck (Kip Pardue), Hank Azaria (James Cochram), Sherilyn Fenn (Holly Cochran), Wendell Pierce (Mr Keith), and Vinessa Shaw (Kate).
The second season will also be focusing on Pulitzer journalist Kate, who is working on a book about the death of Sully (James Woods).
For those who have not started watching the hit drama, there are episodes available on the show's Showtime website. Preview images are also available here.
In an interview with The Wrap, Dash Mihok (Bunchy Donovan) recommended the show by saying: "If you like great acting, and dark, yet awkwardly amusing writing and depth of character, this show is for you... Not to mention watching Jon Voight half-naked, smoking a joint while dancing with a black prostitute."
The second season of "Ray Donovan" will air on July 13, at 9pm. The first episode is entitled "Yo Soy Captain."
