Fans had been anticipating how the next episode of ABC Family's "Switched at Birth" will play out. This is considering the hit series only has a few episodes left until its finale. With the next episode set to be shown on July 21, the web is abuzz with spoilers.
The episode, entitled "Girl with Death Mask (She Plays Alone)" focuses on a trip to Chicago featuring Bay and Daphne. While the trip is laid with good intentions, it easily falls apart like they usually do. John, who suggests the trip, thought it would be a good idea for Bay and Daphne to get along while looking for Bay's second cousin. Daphne, who is supposed to be touring colleges while on the trip, decides it's the best time to act out. All things go south from there.
Meanwhile, new information will be revealed about Angelo's family that may be involved with Regina and a gun shown on the preview. Regina is shown to be arguing with Angelo about infidelity, and the gun makes an appearance. Kathryn is shown to be reporting an accident soon after. There's a possibility of someone ending up in the hospital and early bets say it will either be Angelo or John.
According to the show's producers, the central focus of this season is family, and with the twists and turns the show has been riddling their viewers with, it can only lead to a climactic ending and a possible cliffhanger leading to the next season. The show, which revolves around the lives of Bay and Daphne, who had been switched at birth after being born only minutes apart, debuted with high ratings.
Everyone is expecting everything to be tied up neatly in the last episodes of the season until an explosive finale. The Bay/Emmett romance will be set aside to highlight the different kinds of parenting on the show.
