Many have been waiting for the release of Motorola's Moto X+1 aka Moto X2 since its anticipated release in May, but until now the new smartphone is yet to be released in August according to KpopStarz. Photos; however, leaked, which could signify that the phone is ready to be launched.
It is only last year that Lenovo began the process to buy Motorola from Google and Moto X is the first smartphone they have made under new ownership. The Moto X+1 is rumored to have 1920x1080 full HD AMOLED display, 2 GB of RAM, and a microSD card support. A better camera can also be expected. It could be released with 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB internal storage options. On the other hand, other tech sites warn buyers to expect the absence of a external memory card slot, 5.0 inches of screen size, a 15 MP back camera, 3 MP front camera, and at least 3 GB of RAM.
It was only last year that X2's predecessor, the Moto X, was launched and received with positive reviews despite its less impressive sales. The main selling point of Moto X, which was initially called X Phone, is its hardware design. With a simple camera and no advanced features, new buyers lauded its simple user interface. Moto X is recommended for first-time smartphone users.
Moto X2, however, is not a budget phone. It is expected to be within the $400 price range with its enhanced features, but no exact amount has been announced yet. The leaked photo gives hope that the product is ready for launch.
Verizon will offer the smartphone with Incipio casing that lends durability to the device. The casing is made of rigid Plextonium polycarbonate shell with an inner core for impact absorption. The leaked photo shows that the cover does not add bulk to the handset.
It can be released any time now.
