Nokia has come up with another model to revive their 'X' smartphone range. The Nokia X2 has been estimated to come at a price of $183(INR 10990) in India, which would be inclusive of all the taxes and subsidies.
Microsoft mobiles have included the latest version of Nokia store on this device through which 3rd party applications can also be downloaded and the device can also run android based applications.
The new Nokia X2 is only available in a dual-sim version and doesn't offer a single sim variant. The key features of this device are a 4.3 inch, 480 x 800 pixels, LCD display; the device might operate on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean), while many say that the software being used to run the device is Nokia X software platform version 2.0.
The Nokia X2 also sports a 5 MP Primary camera with LED flash, VGA (0.3 MP) front camera, 4 GB of internal memory, which is expandable upto 32 GB via micro SD cards. The device runs on a Snapdragon Qualcomm 200 processor, which clocks at 1.2 GHz, supported by 1 GB of RAM.
The additions to the design of the new X2 are that it now has a home button that takes the user directly to the main screen and a back button, which doubles-up as a button for viewing the active task/applications when pressed for a longer duration.
This new smartphone out of the Nokia stables is backed by a 1800mAH battery that's reportedly going to deliver upto 86 hours of uninterrupted music playback. The device also comes pre-loaded with applications such as Skype, Xbox games, Facebook, Outlook, OneNote and much more.
