Drew Chadwick is set to face the spotlight alone without the company of the other singers with him from Emblem3. He was reportedly exited the group last June 20 as he wanted to have a huge break and right now, he covets to search for his own "mark" in the music industry.
According to the report of Hollywood Life, he yearns to hop in as a solo artist. "I got to make a mark now," he told the press. Moreover, he was reported to be excited about his upcoming new music. "I got to let people know what I'm all about," he added.
Meanwhile, the eyed solo-artist told on an interview that this was his calling. He had no idea if what he'll do is right, beforehand. Then, an abrupt thought just entered his hype.
Emblem3 is known to their heart-throbbing songs and performances in different shows especially on their street videos in west coast--particularly California. In addition, the boy group exhibits versatility in all they do.
When Chadwick was interrogated of what genres he wanted to include in he explained, "It's a breakdown. It's folk, hip-hop, R&B, pop, subtle electronic...It also has a reggae influence. We don't play by the rules - constant innovation, constant thinking outside of the box." In fact, he has expounded the music influences of Bob Marley, Macklemore, and Kurt Cobain--who are making huge impacts in the business.
The former "Chloe" star is expected to release a recording with X Factor Season 2's Beatrice Miller soon. "I believe that art is the most powerful form of influence that you can have," he explains about his upcoming music. "That possibility [of art] was really exciting to me."
