The Originals Season 2 Preview: Scenes promise bloody action, gore, decapitation, and a splash of romance in upcoming 'Dark' season [VIDEO]

CW's The Originals Season 2 is preparing to be aired this fall. Viewers are expected to see everything more-blood, emotions, romance and action.

Writers of the series have promised to be more creative and violent in the next season. They call it the 'dark' season, stirring its wheel in the darkest way possible.

Writers recently posted on Twitter: "You know it's a good day in the room when everyone shakes their heads a pitch and says 'that's really dark, but it's great' #TheOriginals,"

The director of the show, Jeffery Hunt, has also directed three episodes of "The Vampire Diaries" and "The Originals" respectively. He will reportedly direct the next season's first and fourth episodes. He kept updating his fans through Twitter, posting pictures from behind the scenes and 20 men stunt sequence shoot, assuring the season to be full of blood and power.

The cast and crew of the series have called the upcoming season 'epic' on several occasions.

In an interview with The Paley Center For Media, Producer Julie Pec and some of the actors talked about the loads of blood and violence in the series.

Pec admitted that viewers have been seeing "heads ripped off, hearts ripped out," "The Originals" season 2 will be regulating intimacy on the show.

Pipes, who plays "Cammie" in the series, shares one of her experience while shooting. She apparently had to "thrust" for an intimate scene. Producers eventually decided against airing it and finally edited it.

"And you will never see the thrusting..." Pipes added. "I've scarred the writers for life."

Season one ended with the rival of Klaus and Hailey's hybrid baby, setting the stage for every to the next level of drama, deceit and fight. It's gonna get ugly now!
