September 10th marks the return of FX's hit show "Sons of Anarchy" for its seventh and final season. The show will be focusing on revenge on Jax's part after the murder of his wife, opening with the aptly titled "The Black Widower" as its first episode. Three new characters have also been added for Courtney Love, Marilyn Manson, and Annabeth Gish. Walton Goggins will be returning as Venus Van Dam.
The show ended season 6 with Tara's death at the hands of Gemma, but Jax is yet to find out his mother's involvement. Fans can expect tension from the two as the unveiling of Gemma's secret happens later on in the season.
HNGN reported the arrival of another rocker to the show with Courtney Love making an appearance on episode four as an educator who develops a special interest in Jax's son Abel. Christian Post reports that Love will be seen on her TV show debut as Ms. Harrison until the seventh episode. Also according to Christian Post, tension will be brewing between Ms. Harrison and Wendy. Fans can see more of Wendy, portrayed by Drea de Matteo, after being promoted as a series regular for the last season.
Aside from dealing with the school teacher played by Kurt Cobain's widow, Jax will also be dealing with Ron Tully, a prison power player to be portrayed by Marilyn Manson. Manson stated in an interview that he approached show creator Kurt Sutter to be a part of the last season, according to HNGN.
Annabeth Gish of "Pretty Little Liars" will also be joining the crime drama, while Justified's Walton Goggins will be back as transgender Venus Van Dam.
News for Shoppers also reports Sutter enticing fans for more of Chibs, played by Tommy Flanagan. Flanagan, along with Theo Rossie, Katey Segal, Kim Coates, Mark Boone Junior, Dayton Callie, and Timmy Smits, will be in the SOA panel at the San Diego convention on July 27. Lead star Charlie Hunnam will be joining the panel via satellite.
