Everything still seems rosy for "The Vampire Diaries" and "The Originals" couple Paul Wesley and Phoebe Tonkin. The twosome, which their followers dub as one of the most private couples in Hollywood at present due to their lack of public appearance and photographic proof, remains strong despite keeping mum about their relationship, Bustle.com says.
The 24-year old Australian actress and Wesley met on the set of "The Vampire Diaries" where Tonkin debuted late 2012. In July 2013, Wesley announced that he and wife of two years Torrey DeVito are divorcing. The two claimed that the split was an amicable one and that they intend to remain friends. Come September 2013, it was revealed that Tonkin and Wesley are indeed dating each other after a source from Eonline spilled the two "cozying up to each other" and making out during the 2013 Comic Con party.
PDA between the two seemed to have died down since then, however, as there was little to nothing heard from the pair either from the paparazzi and their social media accounts. Rare selfie posts by fan accounts on Twitter are some of the few evidences that kept their dating status aflame despite the photos not being directly sourced from Wesley's or Tonkin's accounts.
Sleuthing fans of the couple rise up to the challenge, however, and try to fill up the gaps. During the filming break of "The Vampire Diaries" and "The Originals" back in May, the two posted photos of their vacation on their separate Instagram accounts. Both images feature the same lovely backdrop of the same tropical paradise as seen in Wetpaint.com.
Paul remains a regular cast in "The Vampire Diaries" while Phoebe is currently starring in the series' spinoff show "The Originals." Before gaining fame from CW shows, the brunette stunner first found a following in Australia on the series "H20: Just Add Water."
