The much-awaited Bollywood movie "Happy New Year" will finally have its first official trailer on August 15, 2014.

The action/comedy/drama film, directed by Farah Khan and produced by Gauri Khan will have the following actors in its ensemble cast: Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Vivaan Shah, Sonu Sood, and Jackie Shroff.

There is one added twist in the trailer release: the movie may be released with "Singham Returns," the upcoming film of SRK's arch rival Ajay Devgn.

This could build some tension, as the two men's relationship after the release date of their movies clashed in 2012.

A report, however, says that the they have already patched things up: "SRK visited the sets of Rohit Shetty directed 'Singham Returns' and warmly hugged Ajay. Also, the king of romance took to Twitter, wishing good luck to the team of 'Singham Returns'."

Khan knows how to create buzz and get audiences excited for whatever it is he has in store, and this movie is no different. Before the trailer announcement, the movie had a hit poster campaign where the stars digitally signed posters and tweeted them to followers.

"Send #HappyNewYear #WackyWishes @HNY & if I like it, I will not only re-tweet it but also send you a personalized new year message," SRK said in Twitter in January.

The trailer is expected to get more buzz and excitement from fans and critics alike.

The team working on the movie is currently already in post-production.

The movie will come out on Diwali holiday (October 23, 2014), and will be shown in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
