R&B and hip hop singer Trey Songz may have been named one of the music industry's sex symbols but the artist is far from being the woman magnet he is deemed to be. In fact, he is yet to be conquered by a woman as his relationship status remains single despite rumors of him dating.
Rumors about the 'Na Na' singer dating has been circulating but none of it seems to be solid enough to actually make his fans believe them. Among one of the many names that have been connected to him, however, is fellow R&B royalty Nicki Minaj.
Minaj, who collaborated with the 29-year old singer on his track 'Touchin', Lovin' from his album Trigga was reported to have sent the female rapper pink roses that almost filled her studio, Mstarz reports. Nicki posted a photo of it on her Instragram account with the caption saying "Walked into the studio to this. Whoa! U rlly shldnt have. I'm playing, u should have. Lol. Listen to our song #TouchinLovin."
But while this gesture may be taken by many as something that goes beyond just an expression of thanks, Songz's fans don't need to take out their handkerchiefs yet. The 'Na Na singer still claims to be single while Nicki is still said to be going strong with boy love Safaree Samuels.
Despite his image, Trey Songz is very open in sharing that he wants a wife and a family. According to Fashionnstyle, the singer had wanted a family since his first girlfriend but he was "never been one to rush love."
The singer, named Tremaine Neverson in real life, was quick to say that he is not close to marrying yet though, Eurweb reports. He revealed that he was still feeling damaged after his first relationship ended up with the girl cheating on him. Treyz also claimed that he has experienced women dating him from the wrong reasons.
His romantic life may not be flourishing but the singer is definitely reaping successes in his singing career. He just secured his second No.1 album on the Billboard 200 with 'Trigga' which sold a whooping 105,000 copies in the week ending July 6 after opening on July 1. The same happened with his 2012 album "Chapter V" which opened at 135,000 copies merely a week after its release.
