X-Men Days of the Future Past star Hugh Jackman is currently in London to film his new movie "Pan." The Australian actor had to shave his head and grow beard for his role in the movie. He will be playing the role of pirate "Blackbeard."

The 45-year old actor shared a photo of his new look on his Instagram with the caption "Blackbeard is born. #PAN."

Jackman expresses his happiness for his new role and the team he is currently working with. He told the Huffington Post, "I love the director Joe Wright, I love working with Warner Bros and I think this is really exciting. It's a very cool project."

He also added that he find "Pan" a wonderful movie for his kids.

The latest addition to the cast of the movie includes "Les Miserables" star Amanda Seyfried and Victoria's Secret Angel Cara Delevingne. Seyfriend will be portraying Mary, the mother of Wendy, John, and Michael. Delevingne will be acting as a mermaid in the wonder-world of Neverland.

The lead role "Peter Pan" will be portrayed by a new actor Levi Miller. The character of "Captain Hook," on the other hand, will be played by Garett Hedlund, while Rooney Mara will be "Tiger Lily."

Variety describes the movie as Peter Pan origin story. The story will highlight how the orphan Peter Pan was kidnapped and sent to Neverland. Upon arriving in the magical land, Peter will be destined to save the land from the hands of evil pirate Blackbeard.

The hero will start a revolution and will work with Hook as a close ally before the latter turns evil, Variety reports. The story will also touch the beginnings of Tinker Bell.

Warner Bros. has recently moved the release date of Batman V Superman: The Dawn of Justice to 2016, giving way for Pan on July, 2015.
