Hayden Panettiere, star of hit ABC American musical drama series "Nashville," has a lot to celebrate about: she expecting her first child, she's engaged, and her show has been renewed for a third season.
Last month, 24-year-old Panettiere was spotted hanging out at the beach in Porto Cervo, Italy with fiance Wladimir Klitschko. The couple have been dating for five years. According to Us Weekly, They put their wedding on hold in 2013 after a political unrest in Klitschko's native Ukraine.
In an interview with Glamour, Panettiere, who plays country star Juliette Barnes in the hit show, expressed her excitement for motherhood. "I've lived a very big life, and I don't feel my age, and I feel like I was born to be a mother," she said.
"Sometimes people speak about [having kids] like, 'Your life ends-you're never going to be able to do anything again!' And I'm like, 'What are you talking about?' Motherhood is the most beautiful, exciting thing, and there's nothing that I feel like I can't accomplish while having children in my life."
"He's got bowlegs and I've got knocked knees, so they're gonna have straight legs. And they'll be normal height!" said the "Nashville" star.
Panettiere has not yet revealed when the baby is due, but it will most likely be sometime in March or April 2015.
It has not yet been revealed if the pregnancy will affect the show's upcoming season. If the writers decide to add a baby to the storyline, Nashville.com suggested that the father could be Jeff, Avery, or even Deacon.
Panettiere, however, said that a Juliette-Deacon romance is unlikely: "This is a man who Juliette had sexual relations with, who is now more of a father figure, and it's not weird, it's not uncomfortable. You didn't lose any respect for either one of them for doing it - which is really wild."
The third season of "Nashville," which also stars Connie Briton, Clare Bowen, and Eric Close, will air on September 24, 2014. There will reportedly be 20 episodes.
