"I'm the guy who called up Universal and said, 'I'll get you three years on the air as a series-let's just do a Fifty Shades of Grey series.' You don't have to worry about box office, you don't have to worry about a rating, you can tell the story the right way," Albrecht explained. "But movie people think things should be movies, and authors think things should be movies."

Mumford, who plays Anastasia's roommate, told E! Online that Taylor-Johnson is a great director, and that the movie is "tasteful and artistic."

"And the cinematographer is Seamus McGarvey. He did Anna Karenina. It's going to be beautiful," Mumford said. "In the end, the story really is a romance and a love story so it's about that more than anything."

"Fifty Shades of Grey" will be released on on Valentine's Day 2015.
