Did Patrick (Jason Thompson) intentionally let Rafe (Jimmy Deshler) die on the operating table? The investigation continues on General Hospital as the authorities now try to find the truth.
Patrick was the only neurosurgeon in the hospital when Rafe, who was responsible for his son's death, started to lose his breath. He was ultimately forced to perform the surgery on his son's killer. Just hours before the operation, Patrick had remarked that he hoped the person responsible for the car accident would also die because it was only fair exchange for his son's life. Patrick seems to have trapped in his statements.
"Did you make any of these statements?" Scott (Kin Shriner) asks him in a preview for the episode.
However, Patrick did try to save Rafe but the injuries he sustained during the accident were far too much. The doctor tried his best to save his life but wasn't successful and Rafe was brain dead. Patrick's earlier statements will make him look like guilty and could be the reason for his suspension from the hospital.
On the other hand, according to Enstarz, Sam (Kelly Monaco) has been torn since the operation between her friend, and her boyfriend, Silas (Rafe's uncle). Silas fully believes Patrick intentionally let his nephew die-and may have been the one to provide Scott with the statements Patrick made beforehand. And though Sam was sticking by her man before, his betrayal of her friend could be the breaking point in their relationship.
"That is unforgiveable," she says to him. General Hospital airs Monday to Friday at 2 pm on ABC channel.
