Actors Theo James and Shailene Woodley, who portray Four and Tris in the upcoming "Divergent" series, will be appearing in the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) on July 26, 2014. However, Hypable confirmed that there would be no "Insurgent" panel in the Comic-Con. Celebs Shailene Woodley and Theo James, nonetheless will be signing exclusive "Divergent" Series posters at the Lionsgate booth.
The stars will be present to promote the home entertainment release of "Divergent", the first movie from Veronica Roth's trilogy. The signing of exclusive "Divergent" series posters would be the only duties the onscreen and rumored offscreen couple would be doing at the celebrated event. On the other hand, fans of Woodley and James will be eagerly waiting to meet their favourite big screen star duo at San Diego Comic-Con.
In an exclusive with Hero complex recently, Lucy Fisher, co-producer of "Divergent" series talked about the onscreen chemistry of the pair, which no doubt is also echoed by fans. She said. "Shailene and Theo are mesmerizing separately and together, and together they do something that you rarely get to see anymore, which is just explode with chemistry, and you want more, and luckily we can deliver more in the next movie, though some of it is more combative," she said.
Co-producer Douglas Wick echoed Fisher's sentiments and said, "We got incredibly lucky with the chemistry between Shailene and Theo, so as you go in sort of understanding your assets, that's a huge asset for the movie to really explore the next incarnation of their relationship."
Wick also explained how James and Woodley's onscreen chemistry might be tested in "Insurgent." He said, "Insurgent is a much different movie. You have a much more complicated Tris. You have a woman who is been through a lot of loss, and she is got to find an angel kind of strength. She is got to make peace with a world that is in much more turmoil than the one in Divergent."
