James Franco causes yet another scandal in Instagram. Franco reposted a picture from an entertainment gossip website showing his brother Dave Franco and Zac Efron. In the photos, the two seemed to be very close to one another.
One picture shows Dave whispering something to Efron while the other shows the two men giving each other a tight hug.
What made Franco's post funnier and more scandalous is the caption that reads, "Effron and My brother, dating!!!!!! Congrats, boys! I'm so happy for you!!!"
Some netizens believed Franco's gesture was a way to poke fun at his brother. Others even seen it as a sign that the star of Broadway's "Of Mice and Man" is in favor of the two "Neighbors" co-stars dating or just.
James Franco, however, is being sarcastic towards gossip magazines and websites that create wrongful and even malicious impressions against Hollywood celebrities. Some of these publications create stories without any basis to increase their readership and page visits.
The Instagram repost by the 36-year-old actor/director is apparently his way to make fun of the gossip website's attempt to creating controversy against his brother and his co-star.
Dave Franco, 29, and Zac Efron, 26 are co-stars in "Neighbors." Dave is reportedly dating actress Alison Brie, 31. James, on the other hand, has been vocal about his adoration of singer Lana Del Rey.
Meanwhile, James Franco is currently opening a show at New York's Rattlestick Theater called "The Long Shift." The show was written by his former professor and close friend Robert Boswell. "The Long Shift" stars Scott Haze and Ahna O'Reilly.
