The sex change controversy concerning Bruce Jenner is not anymore fresh news as it has been discussed many times early this year. Lately, Jenner is once again in the headlines after photos of him leaving Beverly Hills Surgical Center surfaced on the net. It was reported that he came to the famous surgical clinic for an alleged "laryngeal shave."
It can be remembered that gossip publication National Enquirer first reported the issue about Kris Jenner's estranged husband's contemplation on undergoing sex change.
The June 15 episode of the show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" showed Bruce's weird behavior. It featured Bruce getting his hair highlighted at the house of Khloe Kardashian. Bruce also expressed that he wanted a new name that would match his new image.
A source told RadarOnline how Jenner chose a new name. "At first Bruce was intrigued with Bruscilla, but after he thought about it some more, he decided it didn't work for him," the source stated. "He said, 'It doesn't roll off the tongue very well. Bruscilla sounds like some kind of disease,'" the source added.
"He loves 'Brigitte' not only because it's such a beautiful name, but it makes him think of Brigitte Bardot, who was a total bombshell," the source continued.
Jenner denied these rumors. He said that his "laryngeal shave" has no connection whatsoever with a sex change procedure. The former Olympian also insisted that he just did not like its appearance. "I just never liked my trachea," he stated
Meanwhile, Lamar Odom's friend has spoken to HollywoodLife.com telling that Odom and Bruce are still talking and that Jenner has never expressed anything about sex change.
"Bruce hasn't told Lamar he wants to be a woman," the source said. "Lamar encourages Bruce to stay true to whoever he is and or wants to be. He did tell him that living with that family and being with Kris [Jenner] was all about perfection and how surgery is a normal thing in her eyes."
