iPhone 5s, iPhone 4s and Other iPhone Tips You Never Knew Before

By

Most iPhone users have already read multiple articles on the Internet about tips and tricks for their iPhones. Some are very useful, some aren't, and some are just for fun. There are actually so many tips and tricks that the iPhone has up its sleeve, but they haven't been uncovered yet.

According to CNET and Aplus, here are some tips that you may have never heard of before.

1. Recharge battery faster by switching to airplane mode

-When you switch to airplane mode, all cellular and wireless access (battery draining) is turned off. With this, your phone may charge up to twice as fast.

2. Automatically turn off music with the timer

-If you are like some people who like sleeping with music playing, you can turn off your music automatically using the timer. This way, music doesn't play all night and drain your battery. Go to the Timer app, select "When Timer Ends", and tap on "Stop Playing." The timer will turn off your music after the amount of time you set.

3. Lock autofocus and exposure when taking photos

-From time to time, the iPhone camera keeps refocusing and adjusting the exposure. Tapping the screen sets the focus and exposure for a particular object, but once you move, these settings are lost. You can counter this by pressing and holding your finger on the screen until you see a yellow square blink twice. An icon saying "AE/AF Lock" will appear at the bottom of the screen. The focus and exposure will stay the same until you have taken a shot.

4. Earbud controls

-The stock earphones that come with the iPhone are full of hidden features. You can pause or play music, take photos, ignore calls, and many more. You can see the 10 shortcuts that you can utilize with your earphones here.
