Fights and controversy continue in the third season of "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta."
Tension between former bros Benzino and Stevie J has been brewing a while now, and the latest episode shows that it has started months ago, when Benzino made the decision (without Stevie's consent) to put Mimi Faust on the cover of Hip Hop Weekly.
Benzino wanted to put Mimi on the cover of the magazine without paying her for the photo shoot. Benzino talked to Stevie J at the magazine's headquarters to ask him about what they should do.
"Right now Sleaze, she's probably the most talked about woman on Earth," Benzino said. Stevie however, answered: "All money ain't good money."
Mimi got angry that the magazine did not pay her. She wanted $10,000, and Benzino refused to give it to her, saying that he's a journalist and he doesn't have to pay her for appearing on the cover.
24 Hip Hop reports: "So she threatens to lawyer up on Benzino and leaves. Mimi really doesn't realize she is a public figure, unless the magazine is slandering her, so really she doesn't have a legal leg to stand on - or shower rod to hang on. HA! Made a funny."
Mimi and Nikko say that their sex tape was leaked. Episode 13, however, shows that they are not ashamed of it--Nikko pointed out that they're trending on Twitter.
Meanwhile, in the midst of all the sex tape controversy, Mimi found out that her father had a stroke. Before she headed to New York, Erica visited her to let her know that she was appalled by the video. Mimi, however, told her that they should put aside this issue for now, because she needs to concentrate on her dad. Erica apologized.
"Love and Hip Hop Atlanta" season 3 episode 14 will air on Monday at 8pm on VH1.
