The future father-in law of 'Pirates of the Carribean' series star Johnny Depp has somewhat confirmed reports that the A-lister and his fiancee Amber Heard are getting ready to start a family.
Rumors about Heard pregnant with Depp's baby reached to new heights when Heard's ex-boyfriend actor, Mark Wystrach told In Touch Magazine that she is pregnant.
Although David Heard has not directly dismissed the baby rumors, he told British magazine Grazia instead, "I think they will have at least a weekend retreat in England soon, around London as they both love it so much - and I enjoy visiting. Last September they were both in England and they were in a hotel. Then they rented something on the edge of London. They love it, I'm sure they will buy something there. There is a right way to do things and she and Johnny are the type of people that do it right. We will have grandchildren, but after the wedding."
The 51 year-old Depp has since defended his ladylove and deemed the rumors rubbish during an appearance in the Today show, saying, "A child? Good god, what do you think I am, a savage? No, no truth to that. [It's] not a shotgun affair."
While, the couple have yet to get married and have children. RadarOnline.com reported that the "3 Days to Kill" star has developed "a strong stepmom-type bond" with Depp's two childen. Depp has two children with Vanessa Paradis, Lily Rose, who is 14 years old, and Jack is 12.
"It took Johnny a long time to get to this point with the kids, but this spring has marked Amber becoming a true part of the family and being involved with the upbringing of Johnny's kids - albeit on a somewhat limited basis. Amber sees Johnny's children nearly every weekend Johnny does, especially when they're in Los Angeles and not working on sets. When they're not on set, Johnny stays close to town, but he doesn't just want to do the usual activities with the kids like their mom Vanessa does during the week. He's very much about showing them an adventure and a good time, and Amber has been 100% behind this all the way," the source told the gossip news site.
Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are expected to exchange their vows this fall.
