Paulina Gretzky, has reportedly deleted a photo from her Instagram account after her fiancé--champion golfer Dustin Johnson--announced his leave of absence.
Singer/model Gretzky, 25, is the daughter of NHL legend Wayne Gretzky. She reportedly posted a photo on her Instagram where Johnson helps her line up a putt, captioned: "Best Caddy Ever. @djohnsonpga"
The New York Post reported on July 31 that Johnson announced that he'll be taking a break effective immediately to deal with personal issues.
"I will use this time to seek professional help for personal challenges I have faced,'' Johnson said in a statement. "By committing the time and resources necessary to improve my mental health, physical well-being and emotional foundation, I am confident that I will be better equipped to fulfill my potential and become a consistent champion."
Johnson, 31, thanked his fans and the media for giving him privacy as he embarks "upon this mission of self-improvement."
In August 2, Us Weekly reported that Johnson has been suspended from the PGA Tour after being tested positive for cocaine.
A source told Golf.com that Johnson has failed a total of three drug tests--for marijuana in 2008, and cocaine for 2012 and 2014. He has also been involved in a number of controversies, including "a sexual indiscretion with at least one wife of a PGA Tour player."
The Tour did not comment further, but said that they are wishing the player well, and that they are looking forward to his return.
The Tour released a short statement saying: "With regard to media reports that Dustin Johnson has been suspended by the PGA Tour, this is to clarify that Mr. Johnson has taken a voluntary leave of absence and is not under a suspension from the PGA Tour."
Johnson and Gretzky started dating in early 2013, and got engaged in August that same year.
