What Will Happen in Devious Maids Season 3? Sabrina Wind Interview shares cast updates - 'Absolutely, that person is gone.'

By

The season 2 of Devious Maids started with a bang and ended with a much bigger and more thrilling kind of bang. We are not just talking about a simple bang but we are talking about a literal bang. Yes, the season 2 ended with Ty (Gideon Click) trying to kill Valentina (Edy Ganem) during Rosie (Dania Ramirez) and his uncle Spence's (Grant Show) wedding. But the cliff hanger of the show was we never know who really got shot as they only showed Rosie's flowers with blood.

There is still no assurance that the show is going to be renewed or cancelled. But during an interview with TVline.com, executive producer Sabrina Wind said that Tony (Dominic Adams) is no longer part of the show. "With some characters, you can say, 'Absolutely, that person is gone.' Like Tony, for example, we have no intention of bringing back".

She also said some interesting things about what is going to happen to Nicholas. At the season finale of season 2, we knew that Nicholas was the one who ran over the child of Evelyn Powell (Rebecca Wisocky) and Adrian Powell (Tom Irwin) and leaving him dead on the street and hid it for a very long time. Marisol (Ana Ortiz) was the one who discovered about all of this after opening Opal's (Joanna P. Adler) deposit box. So Marisol brought Nicholas to the police but are we going to see him inside the prison? "I can't make any promises. With some characters, you can say, "But if we can find a way to bring back Nicholas and keep Mark Deklin on our show, we will do so. The audience really responded, as far as we can tell, to Nicholas and Mark. So if there's a way to keep him, we'll try and figure it out; on the other hand, he is a murderer," Wind said.
