Moneysoft reportedly secures an additional AU$500,000 in a new round of funding, bringing its total funding to AU$1.5 million.
The application offers a free budget planner and money management software that allows its users to categorize and track how much money they are spending, and notifies them of payment schedules for bills, loans and repayments. BlueChilli, the company behind the application, also connects its users to more than 200 banks and other financial institutions.
Coinciding with the new round funding, the company reached the second phase of its integration with xPlan, a browser-based wealth management software. The company was also able to hire Jon Shaw as its new head of technology and commercial operations.
Founder Peter Malekas claims Moneysoft's growth has exceeded expectations and welcomed Shaw's addition, formerly of IBM, to help drive further expansion.
