Zelda Williams says goodbye to Twitter, Instagram? Robin Williams' daughter threatened after sharing grief on father's death

By

Zelda Rae Williams, the 25-year-old only daughter of Robin Williams, is overwhelmed with grief over the apparent suicide of her father. A source describe her condition to Hollywood Life as "inconsolable and this is her worst nightmare. Absolutely devastated.'"

Latest reports said that she has bid her readers goodbye from Twitter and signed off with a message that included a link to a Tumblr post about her siblings' statements about the comedian's untimely death. Her Twitter post read, "My only statement. My brothers' are also online. Thank you for all your kindness, and goodbye for awhile guys. xo."

A portion of her message to those who sympathize for the family's loss, as published by Refinery 29, read, "To those he touched who are sending kind words, know that one of his favorite things in the world was to make you all laugh. As for those who are sending negativity, know that some small, giggling part of him is sending a flock of pigeons to your house to poop on your car. Right after you've had it washed. After all, he loved to laugh too."

Aside from this message she also shared a heartrending quote from Antoine De Saint-Exupéry's beloved story, "The Little Prince" on her account.

However, the actress faced backlash from her statements, prompting Williams to leave social media. The Washington Post even identified the perpetrators and published all of their social media handles. The trolls have forced Zelda to leave social media for the time being.

Her last tweet read, "I'm sorry. I should've risen above. Deleting this from my devices for a good long time, maybe forever. Time will tell. Goodbye."

Zelda has since complained about Twitter's policy in reporting abuse received from trolls, the Post said. Twitter Vice President Del Harvey said on Wednesday that she will look into the matter, and a source told the newspaper that the microblogging site has been working on the revisions regarding troll abuse for several months ahead.

We predict that Zelda will be coming back soon online. The question is whether Twitter by that time has policies already in place to protect Zelda, and many others from troll abuse.
