"The Good Wife" will see a new cast addition in Season 6 as Taye Diggs is reported to join the CBS show for its sixth season. According to Enstarz, confirmation about Diggs joining the cast has been made on July 7 by the actor by posting a tweet about the news on his account. Diggs' tweet said, "Hyped to be joining the stellar cast of the extraordinary @TheGoodWife_CBS."

Diggs is no stranger to legal drama, Enstarz said, as he had played a part in "Private Practice". As for his role in "The Good Wife," the report said he will be playing Dean Levine-Wilkins, an equity partner at Lockhart/Gardner who is described as "meticulous" and "talented."

Show creators Robert and Michelle King have both expressed their excitement about the cast addition, saying that they've been "huge fans for years," and that they "love his ability to play comedy and drama with equal ease."

For Diggs' role in the show, he debuted his look as Levine-Wilkins via a Vine post of himself being in "funny mode," continues the Enstarz article.

As for Alan Cumming, who plays Eli Gould, a separate Enstarz report shared that the actor debuted his new look for the upcoming season. The show's official Twitter account shared Cumming's Instagram photo as he is prepped for shooting on August 8, debuting Gould's new look with a caption: "Eli is back."

Season 6 of "The Good Wife' will focus on Alicia's (Julianna Margulies) struggles as she is torn with the campaign for her to run for State's Attorney. Eli Gould (Cummings) will reportedly ensure Alicia will actually run. KDramaStars also said Will's (Josh Charles) death will allow Alicia's character "to grow more" as the season progresses.

The show will return September 21.
