Demi Lovato discloses her reasons for unfollowing 'former' BFF Selena Gomez last July.
On Thursday, Selena Gomez has been a hot issue across the blogosphere and news after Lovato's appearance on Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live". There, Cohen asked her - on a "Plead the Fifth" style" - about several and hottest issues of herself today.
"Shag, Marry, Kill: Joe Jonas, Justin Bieber, Simon Cowell," Cohen begun asking.
Exhibiting disgust on her face, she responded, "I'd kill Bieber. I'd kill Simon. F--k, I'd kill Joe, too!" The songstress abruptly said, "No, Joe and I are good friends, so I wouldn't kill him. I'd keep him around." Alba, according to E! Online, asked her of who among the three would she shag. "None," she quickly answered.
Meanwhile during the show, Cohen asked her, "Not including your own behavior, what is the most scandalous thing you ever saw a Disney Channel star do? And you don't have to name a name."
"I can't answer that!" she said. There, she pleaded: "I plead the fifth."
Gave a full sigh of relief, which she thought the following questions wouldn't be as tough as the previous ones, Lovato then was thrown by a question regarding her issues with Bieber's former girlfriend Selena Gomez.
"You recently unfollowed your BFF Selena Gomez on Twitter. So much speculation about this! Can you tell us why?" Cohen raised.
In parts, Lovato finally spilled the beans of unfollowing her BFF, whom she met and been Disney stars long ago, after Andy raised another question; "Are people reading too much into it? Are they reading into something that doesn't exist?"
"I think it's just one of those things where people change and people grow apart," Lovato - precisely, concisely and honestly - replied.
According to Enstarz, this wasn't the first time the two had feud. In 2010, they had a conflict and during the same year, Lovato entered rehab due to "eating disorders" and "self-harm issues".
"I've known her since we were 7, and we did fall apart for a while," Selena, quoted by the site, revealed.
"She was going through things and I was so young and it was confusing. I processed it saying, 'OK, I don't understand what she's going through so I'm just going to do this.' I don't think it was fair, and I'm so happy that I have her back in my life now."
