“Jurassic World” Spoilers: Director Colin Trevorrow Announces It’s a Wrap; Actors Chris Patt Says Fans will not be Disappointed; Jake Johnson Dished out Details on His Character

"Jurassic World" director Colin Trevorrow recently announced that the filming of the highly anticipated sequel of the Jurassic Park has finished, ComicBookMovie reports. Trevorrow posted a picture with the word "WRAP," indicating the movie is proceeding to its post-production stage.

Star Chris Patt (Guardians of the Galaxy) said fans of the dinosaur-themed movie will not be disappointed when they finally see the film in June, 2015.

"It's going to knock your socks off. It's gonna be so awesome, so awesome," the actor promised.

"And to the long-time fans of the franchise, it's in good hands. Colin is a huge fan, he's gonna deliver a movie that is worthy of the brand and I swear to you it's just gonna be so good I already know it. I can tell." Patt continued.

According to spoilers, the film will take place two decades after "Jurassic Park." Pratt's character Owen will be working to research on the Velociraptor at Isla Nublar's Dinosuar Park. The park will conduct genetic experiments with the goal of developing bigger and more ferocious dinosaurs. The experiment, however, will be the start of the tragedy in the theme park.

Meanwhile Jake Johnson (Lets Be Cops) recently revealed a few details about his character in "Jurassic World." In an interview with AICN, he said, "The only think I can give you about my character that's fun in terms of nerding out about 'Jurassic' is that my character loves 'Jurassic World' and 'Jurassic Park.'".

"We're playing with this idea that they know the legacy of the park. But that's all I can give," Johnson added.

In another interview back in March, Johnson also dished out other spoilers about their characters in the movie.

"You know, it's not real dinosaurs," the actor said. "I'm the tech guy. I'm the guy in the booth, so I don't get to wrestle around with the dinos. That's Chris Pratt and Bryce Howard. They get to do all that," Johnson continued.

The "Jurassic Park" movies are based on Michael Crichton's novels about dinosaurs that were revived using gene technology.

Other than Patt, Johnson, and Howard, "Jurassic World" also stars Nick Robinson (The Kings of Summer), Ty Simpkins (Iron Man 3), and Irrfan Khan (Life of Pi).

The film is slated for release on June 12, 2015.
