'50 Shades of Grey' News: Rita Ora Abandons Interview After Painful Question About Her Ex [Video]

By

"50 Shades of Grey" has been frought with controversy from the very beginning. First, star Charlie Hunnam was cast as the lead role of Christian Grey, but dropped out of the film after the tenacious fans pushed him too far and made him extremely comfortable at a premiere.

Then, the film was pushed back six months- it was originally intended to release this August, but now the film will premiere in February of 2015.

Also, it's "50 Shades of Grey," which is controversial just in itself- a piece of "Twilight" fan fiction that became a national bestseller for steamy sex (and questionable quality of writing).

Now, another piece of "50 Shades" controversy has just come about. Rita Ora, a singer-songwriter who will be starring in "50 Shades of Grey," as well as performing music for the soundtrack, recently did an interview with the Associated Press, about a new fragrance she has with DKNY.

And when the AP questioned the singer about the song, and how it may have ties to her ex-boyfriend, Calvin Harris, Ora reportedly became very, very upset.

MTV has the full quote from the interview:

Associated Press: "There's been a lot of rumours about Calvin Harris not releasing your stuff?"

Rita Ora: "Thank you. Bye bye"

At which point Ora fled the interview. A video of her walk-out can be seen below.

Enstars, meanwhile, believes this may set a precedent for future "50 Shades of Grey" publicity, where promotions for the film will be marked by potential breakdowns and walkouts by the stars, musicians, and other creative types surrounding the film.

It remains to be seen if that kind of drama really will affect the film's press.

Another piece in Enstars reports that the film may be delayed in foreign markets- specifically the Phillipines, but since then it has come out that those delays are mere rumor and nothing more.

Check back soon for the latest on "50 Shades of Grey" and its many, many scandals.
