'Dating Naked' Star Jessie Nizewitz Sues VH1 for $10,000,000 After Her Uncensored Crotch Appears on the Show

By

You'd think that contestants on the series "Dating Naked" would realize they're being broadcast nude on national TV. And they are- to some extent.

But for Jessie Nizewitz, her version of "naked" and VH1's version are totally different. According to E! Online, a recent episode of the series (which is a normal dating reality show, except that the couples must do their dating entirely without clothing) broadcast Nizewitz naked body... without the usual blurs covering her actual nudity.

Normally, the series shows its contestants' rear ends, but everything else is (somewhat) tastefully blurred, but one sequence of her, wrestling in the sand with a potential match, showed her body fully nude and uncensored.

Even thought she agreed to be nude on TV, that kind of exposure has to be embarassing.

And now, according to ThinkProgress.org, Nizewitz is suing the network for $10,000,000. According to her lawsuit, she's suffered enormous emotional damages from having her private parts broadcast to the entire country:

""The episode, as broadcast, shows Plaintiff's wrestling takedown of her date, but Defendants did not blur out her vagina and anus, which were fully exposed to all viewers.

Plaintiff, who was watching the initial showing, was shocked, horrified, and outraged to observe this intrusion into her privacy for all to see."

Nizewitz also released a second statement to Entertainment Weekly.

"I have no problem going to a beach in a bikini or people seeing me on TV in a bikini," began the statement.

"Although I went on this show knowing that I would be nude while taping it I was told that my private parts would be blurred for TV. If you watch an episode, you will see that the blur actually makes it less revealing than a bikini would. Obviously, I did not expect the world to see my private parts, this is not what I anticipated or what any other contestants on the show anticipated."

Again, you'd think being naked on "Dating Naked" would be a given, but clearly not in this instance. Check back soon to see how the lawsuit develops.
