The production of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" Season 5 is currently underway and reports suggest that the premiere may be ready for airing by January 2015.
It was earlier reported that the upcoming season will feature Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards, Brandi Glanville, Yolanda Foster, and Kim Richards in the cast. TMZ, however, said that Carlton Gebbia and Joyce Giraud will not be returning on the next installment of the franchise. According to the website, the two reality stars are "just not involved enough in the series' story lines to justify their coveted spots in the cast."
Meanwhile the show is expecting to have "Days of Our Lives" and "Young and the Restless" actress Eileen Davidson as another member of the cast, according to The Wrap. The award-winning actress will be joining her soap co-star Lisa Rinna, who has also been rumored to be added to the cast of "RHOBH"'s fifth season. It has also been believed that the two replaced Carlton and Joyce as the former co-stars could bring much-needed drama in the season.
A source told Wetpaint that Lisa is reportedly miffed at the idea that Eileen decided to join the reality show despite the fact that she quit the soap. The source added, "Eileen said she quit DoOL to spend more time with family, but then invites reality cameras into her house? There is a lot going on with Eileen's personal life, and just doesn't seem like the best decision to join a reality show."
Moreover, the upcoming season of the reality show will also see the return of Adrienne Maloof, who left the show in 2013 after three seasons. According to US Weekly, Maloof is set to have cameo appearances in Season 5.
"I'm coming back, also, a bit wiser. I know what to expect now. There were some unfinished situations that I felt the need to kind of mend and come full circle," the reality star said.
