Perhaps you are aware of the television quiz show "Are you smarter than a Fifth Grader?" This show features the contestants being asked elementary school questions in subjects like Science, Mathematics, English, and others. You cannot help but be amazed that the adult contestants find it difficult to answer the question that they are supposed to have studied when they were still in school. The great thing about this show is that the adults are being assisted or helped by kids who are just in fifth grade or even younger.
Nowadays, we read in the newspaper, over the Internet, or watch in the television how smart today's kids are. According to William Dickens, PhD, a senior fellow in economic studies, the genes and the environment play a role in the intelligence of a child. After entering pre-school, their IQ improves within six to twelve months.
While most kids enjoy playing during their leisure time and do school works, there are quite a few talented kids who are determined to develop their skills as musicians, artists or dancers and excel than most of the children their age. Thanks to YouTube who has allowed them to show to the world what they are very good at. Huffington Post compiles a list of six amazing kids with amazingly extraordinary skills for their age.
