"Nashville" Season 3 brings along a lot of drama which will highlight a torn Rayna (Connie Britton) having to choose between two men, Juliette's (Hayden Panattiere) struggle to mend her relationship with Avery (Jonathan Jackson) and her audition for a leading role in a biographical film, and Scarlett's (Clare Bowen) embarkation on a road trip home and who will bond with an unexpected runaway, among others, according to ABC's sneak preview of the highly-anticipated Season 3 premiere.
In an interview with EW Radio (SiriusXM 105) published on Entertainment Weekly September 10, star Connie Britton talked about the show in anticipation of its premiere.
"Drama, drama, drama. Always," Britton said about the overall theme that fans and viewers are going to see in season 3.
However, she added, "I'm hopeful and I think there's an intention in season 3 to really shed even more light on kind of the business side of things, which I always think is really interesting about the show."
Britton continued in extent about the series' significance and influence on the music industry.
"Well, because to me, and what I always liked the idea of this early on, (is) using Nashville as a microcosm for really what's happening in the entertainment industry, and really in the world with all the new forms of media, and what's that doing to music and to film and television, and the rest of it", Britton said. "It's completely changing the industry, and I think that stuff is really interesting. It's very relatable to audiences, and I think I'm hopeful that we're going be having a lot more of that this year, and seeing that through the eyes and the journeys of all the different characters."
Britton also confirmed, in a Huff Post Live interview last week published by WetPaint, that co-star Hayden Panettiere's pregnancy would be written into the show as her character, Juliette Barnes, could also be expecting a child.
"Nashville" Season 3 will premiere on September 24, 2014.
