What happens to a "Teen Mom" if she's no longer a mother? We may be faced with that very dilemma soon enough- according to KDrama Stars, Leah Messer, the star of MTV's "Teen Mom 2," may be losing her children in an upcoming custody battle.
According to KDrama Stars' reports, Messer's ex-husband, Corey Simms, is attempting to gain full custody' of the pair's twin four-year-old daughters, Ali and Aleeah. Here's what Messer said in response:
"It shocked me," revealed the reality star.
Later, she added, "Why would you give custody to a parent who is in denial of what the facts are when it comes to Ali's medical condition, who is not wanting to cooperate with fulfilling her needs?"
"The worst outcome would probably be that he would get full custody, and I don't know how I would deal with that. . . I can't imagine not being the one taking care of her," said Messer.
Radar Online has more on the story, claiming that Messer has been doing a wonderful job taking care of her disabled daughter, but may have been slipping recently. According to their reports, the stress of caring for a disabled child may have pushed Messer into abusing prescription drugs, as well as picking fights with her ex- who's now fighting to get complete custody of the children.
Here's what a source of Radar Online's had to say:
"We think Leah could be taking powerful painkillers including Lortab and Percocet. They are very easy to get on the streets in her hometown."
As well, MTV reports that this conflict will spill into future episodes of "Teen Mom 2," because as terrible as it is for Messer and her family, it's the stuff that reality TV producers go gaga for.
