Another New Yorker is coming to town, and Dr. Zoe Hart will no longer be the new girl in town, according to a report by Fashion & Style.
A Zoe-type character named Olivia Green is coming in the Gulf Coast town of Bluebell, Alabama, the report continues. The said character will be in her twenties, gorgeous, and eloquent enough to engage in any conversation. But unlike Zoe Hart, who is a doctor, Olivia Green is a lawyer.
The report added that will appear throughout the show up to end of the upcoming Season 4.
Zoe Hart is also purported to become pregnant in the fourth season, as Rachel Bilson's pregnancy is rumored to be worked into the plot.
That said, the series is looking to cast a female obstetrician in her 40s to probably take on Dr. Hart's position when she takes a maternity leave, according to spoilers from E! Online.
An article on Bustle conjectured that Hart could find out she is pregnant on the premiere and then give birth by episode 6. It is also possible that she will not find out that she is pregnant until episode 6.
Nevertheless, she will become pregnant, and it will be interesting to see who will father Zoe's child, considering that she Zoe professed her love for Wade Kinsella (played by Wilson Bethel) in the Season 3 finale. Wade is careful to get in a relationship with Zoe again, thinking they can never have a future together after all that they had been through in Season 2.
But prior to her confession, Zoe is in a relationship with Joel Stephens (played by Josh Cooke), another New Yorker who feels like a fish out of water in Bluebell. Zoe took Joel with her back to Bluebell after she spent the summer in New York. But because she still harbors unresolved feelings for Wade, their relationship broke down.
So, who will be the father of Zoe's child? We'll just have to find out.
CW released no official announcement on the Season 4 premiere yet, however, CW president Mark Pedowitz confirmed that the upcoming season will have 10 episodes.
