It's always embarassing being caught in a lie. But accusing someone else of lying- only for them to fire back with indisputible truth- is way worse.
That's exactly what happened to actress Tamar Braxton, of "Braxton Family Values." For whatever reason (it's not exactly clear), Braxton brought some heat against Yung Berg, the rapper and producer of "Sexy Lady." Berg, apparently, had claimed he had done some work on one of Braxton's singles, from her album "Love & War."
So she fired off a shot on Instagram:
"What song you write, co-write, beatbox, tap dance, do the snake, twerk, square dance of mine? #liesutell... #thereal #getreal #getem @bigshiz b4 I do."
At which point, Yung Berg provided obvious proof that he had worked on one of Braxton's songs: an Instagram post of his own, featuring a video of Braxton's with the message "check credits pls."
And sure enough, his name was in there. Ouch.
To cover up, Braxton went ahead and deleted the Instagram message, but this is the Internet- once it's out there, it's out there for good. Enstars was able to preserve the text of the Instagram message, and now it's not going anywhere.
The final blow (so far, anyway) was struck by Yung Berg, posting a killing stroke on Twitter. An extremely angry, caps-locked killing stroke:
"U CAN TALK SH*T & PLAY ON THESE SITES ALL U WANT. BUT MY CREDIBILITY AS A SONGWRITER & PRODUCER WON'T BE QUESTIONED! #IWORKTODAMNHARD #LHHH"
Braxton hasn't responded back yet, but she doesn't really have much to stand on in this fight. She's lost- she might as well back down and try to save face.
Or, because this is Twitter and good judgement is totally not required, she could keep blasting Yung Berg and see what comes of it.
