Mimi Faust knew Nikko Smith was not honest about him being married? 'Love & Hip Hop Atlanta' stars dish about Season 3 revelation after sex tape

As "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" will be taking a break for a while following its explosive Season 3 finale and reunion special, reality stars Mimi Faust and Nikko Smith has opened up in separate interviews about the latter still being married to another woman despite being together on the show.

Mimi recently sat down with a radio station host to talk about the show's revelations. She told "The Biz with D" host David Duane, "It was shocking to me to find out about him being married. First because, he always claimed to be very open and honest with me and, you know, always said that we were building and that relationships were built on trust....and he would always pound that into the conversation. So, yeah, him being married was extremely shocking."

She also said that she already had a hunch that Nikko was hiding something from her, and that she knew that there was something more than the mysterious calls Nikko claimed to have received from his purportedly ex. She added, "The conversation did come up because she would call his phone a lot and I would see that and he would never answer. So, when I would ask him about...that person...he would say "she's my EX; we ended our relationship not on a bad note like you and Stevie did so we're still cool and we're still friends. We still talk from time to time." That would be his response when the conversation would come up regarding her but, that was all a lie. It was actually his wife."

In the Season 3 finale, New Pittburgh Courier Online recalled how Nikko decided to confess about the status of his relationship with Margo, whom he is still married. He claimed, however, that he has been separated from his wife of about a decade, and that Margo is currently living in Canada. Interestingly, Margo has yet to come forward and claim Nikko from Mimi, which had led fans of the show to believe that maybe the former couple is on a scheme to get money out of Mimi.

Meanwhile, Nikko explained to Vibe in a separate interview that he had a good reason why he chose to not tell Mimi about his civil status. He was quoted by S2Smagazine.com as saying, "I made a decision not to tell her because there was so much going on with this Stevie (J, Mimi's ex) $h!t," said Nikko. "I was taking this to my grave. This was some secretive $h!t I was doing. I didn't tell Mimi. I didn't feel as that she needed to know. Going into this third season, I think I might have stretched it out a little too long."
