When last we reported on "Hart of Dixie" here at Venture Capital Post, it was all about star Rachel Bilson and her soon-to-be born baby bump (plus the maternity clothing style she was rocking over that bump).
But there's another "Hart of Dixie" star with a news-worthy baby: co-star Jamie King, who's just celebrated the first birthday of her son, James.
According to Enstars, King, her husband Kyle Newman and their son went to a park in Los Angeles for a little low-key birthday celebrations. That's kind of the opposite of what we expect from a celebrity baby birthday (neither North West nor Blue Ivy would be caught at such a paltry baby b-day) but as far as the actual kid's concerned, it was probably pretty sweet.
According to the publication, the family played a little soccer (note: it is unclear how much soccer their one year old wanted- or was physically able to- play), and a few friends later showed up to add to the festivities.
Meanwhile, The Daily Mail has some details on just what King was wearing for the celebration. Apparently, the actress was wearing a shimmery black sundress with a seriously low-plunging neckline. As well, she had on a pair of white pumps and some sunglasses (always necessary for a sunny picnic in the park.
Photos seen in the Daily Mail show the couple and their young son blowing bubbles and playing with kid-size musical instruments. Does anyone spy a musical career in the little guy's future?
(Probably not, given that he's only one year old).
If only all celebrity baby celebrations were as pleasant and low-key as this one. But given the nature of most celebrities, that's not likely to be the case.
