Despite recent controversy involving Luhan's lawsuit against SM, EXO is rumored to be having a comeback on the 25th, Allkpop reports.
According to the report, insiders in the industry claim that EXO's planned comeback will push through at the end of the month. Rumors surface suggesting that the male idol group's comeback is scheduled on the 25th.
Currently, SM's new girl group Red Velvet is on promotions. Meanwhile, fairly established idol group Super Junior is teasing fans with a repackage song. As Allkpop notes, if EXO's comeback on the 25th is indeed happening, SM will be having three groups promoting at the same time.
The website also wrote that it still remains unclear if the all male group will continue promoting as EXO-M and EXO-K or as the 10-member EXO.
Meanwhile, Luhan's filing of lawsuit has caused not only an outrage from fans of EXO but has also significantly affected the image and financial stature of SM Entertainment. Recent reports claim that YG Entertainment has surpassed SM Entertainment in market value following the controversies that involved the latter.
Moreover, Luhan's father spoke about the idol's decision to file a lawsuit against the agency, Allkpop wrote in another report. In an interview with a Chinese outlet, the idol's father said, "I'm supporting my son. There is no decision made yet, but I put my son's opinions first. I supported him when he said he would become a celebrity, and I will keep supporting him."
Aside from his father, numerous fans also expressed their support to Luhan. Most of criticized SM in the way they handle their artists and some even put the blame on the CEO Kim Young Min who replaced Lee Soo Man in 2010.
Meanwhile, other netizens criticized Luhan, describing the idol's move as a step to betray the company that trained and led him to popularity. Some Korean netizens even called the Chinese artist "disloyal.
