Keke Palmer has recently joined the list of celebrity victims as "The Fappening" continues. A set of Snapchat photos of male celebrities and ordinary people have allegedly also been released in what is now being coined as "The Snappening."
The leaking of nude celebrity photos doesn't seem to be over yet, as more photos of male and female celebrities have allegedly surfaced. According to Al Arabiya News, Keke Palmer is one of the latest victims with a combination of fully clothed, partially clothed, and topless photos. The Broadway star's photos have not been confirmed yet, and Palmer has not spoken up about them, but some of the photos show her tattoos and piercings.
Previous victims included celebrities such as Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, Rihanna, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and many others. The FBI is supposedly investigating the case.
Leaking private photos of individuals is only getting worse, as The Telegraph reports that the hackers are now targeting "ordinary people-including teenagers and children." According to the article, "A new batch of nude selfies and naked personal photographs have been released onto the internet without the permission of those featuring in them."
Though "The Snappening" is reportedly moving on to ordinary people, it seems some celebrities are also joined in the mix. George Sampson, "Britain's Got Talent" 2008 winner, is one of the subjects of "The Snappening." Huffington Post reports Sampson in "a number of explicit poses" and names him as the fourth male celebrity to be victimized after David McIntosh, Matt Smith, and Nick Hogan have had their private Snapchat photos hacked.
McIntosh, who is a former fiancé of Kelly Brook, allegedly addressed his leaked photos on Twitter with some humor. According to his tweet, "So happy my naked ass brought joy to many boys & girls out der Im now gonna figure out a way to get more leaked, as my duty to humanity."
