Surviving members of “Ladies Code” discharged from hospital; Investigation of the car accident shows driver is at fault

The remaining members of K-pop group, Ladies Code, have just been discharged from the hospital after surviving the car accident that took the lives of two of the group's members as reported by News.Nate.com.

In the report, representatives from Polaris Entertainment which formed the group have this to say:

"The health conditions of So Jung, Ashley, and Zuny are all almost back to normal, so they were discharged..."

The report was written in Korean but apparently the girls have decided to rest with their respective families and the representative had this to stay, "After the members have found stability mentally, they plan on returning to the dorms."

It was back in September 3, 2014 that the group was involved in a car accident which immediately resulted in the death of 22-year old EunB while Kwon RiSe initially survived the incident with severe head injuries. Kwon RiSe passed away on September 7 even with multiple operations and up to 10 hours of surgery. RiSe's remains were laid to rest in Japan, where her family resides.

The three remaining members that survived; Lee So Jung, Ashley, and Zuny had minor injuries but Sojung's injuries were listed as critical when she was brought to the hospital and it was reported she received facial fractures as well. Sojung was moved to a hospital near her hometown of Wonju in an update announced by a Polaris Entertainment representative.

Earlier this month, the result of the investigation of the car accident was announced in a public press conference. The investigation was led by the National Institute of Scientific Investigation (NISI) who was commissioned by the Yongin Seobu Police Station.

The investigation coupled with CCTV footage showed that the vehicle which the group was riding on was speeding at around 130kmph which exceeded the speed limit imposed on that road which was 100kpmh. Due to the rain and the over-speeding, the driver lost control of the vehicle which led to the accident.

Polaris Entertainment and the police have yet to make a statement if the driver is to be held responsible even though the evidence is proving to be pointing towards that direction.
