Jennifer Lawrence just bought a new house, which previously belonged to Jessica Simpson and Ellen Degeneres. The actor didn't shy away from celebrating her new property, but not with her rumored boyfriend Chris Martin, who was recently spotted having dinner with estranged wife Gwyneth Paltrow.
The five-bedroom house Lawrence purchased in Beverly Hills has been the subject of news these past few days, even before it was revealed that it previously belonged to Simpson and Degeneres. According to Curbed, the house is complete with a koi pond, a pool, and "park-like grounds." The 5,500-square foot "French style" house is relaxing and located in Hidden Valley, shares E! News.
The house has had an increase in price after being last sold for $6.4 million back in 2013, Curbed shares. Lawrence allegedly bought it for $8.225 million, but E! News' price only puts it at $7M. After her purchase, the star was seen celebrating in Ago Restaurant, Los Angeles.
Mail Online reports that the "Hunger Games" star looked to be in a celebrating mood when she was spotted wearing a "thigh-skimming little black dress" in the Italian restaurant. Lawrence's outfit was simple but stylish, with her dress only having a gold necklace as embellishment and her clutch bag being in a pale pink color. The article didn't say anything about who Lawrence had dinner with, but it doesn't seem to be her rumored boyfriend, Chris Martin.
Just recently, a different Mail Online article reports Martin having a family dinner with estranged wife Gwyneth Paltrow and Lawrence being seen watching a movie with a female friend the day after. Unlike her celebratory mood on Wednesday night, the article reports her as looking pensive at Arc Light theater. It was also reported that Lawrence has already introduced Martin to her mother, Karen, who flew in to L.A. and allegedly planned to spend the holidays together.
